In the village, there is the parish church which has history hidden behind the bricks. Originally built in the norman times, not much of that remains, as it has been rebuilt several times. The tower dates back to 1829 and the Lychgate dates back to 1921. |  |
| If visiting in mid-August, then you will be delighted at the number of scarecrows you can see. The annual festival takes place for a week with a different theme each year. Kettlewell has a Hotel and two inns offering quality accommodation and great food. Bed and breakfasts offer that all important sizzling Yorkshire breakfast-the best way to start the day, and self-catering accommodation located in holiday villages are close by. |
