| Saltaire Village is within close proximity to Bradford. In December 2001, Saltaire was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO(www.saltairevillage.info) The Salts Mill, based in Saltaire houses a fine collection of artwork including pieces by famous artist David Hockney. For a restaurant with a difference try a meal on one of Bradford's barges or if you prefer to remain on dry land there is a multitude of bars and eateries to choose from. The breathtaking Bronte Country sits right upon Bradford’s doorstep. Only fourteen miles east of Bradford lies Haworth where the cobbled Main Street and Bronte parsonage attracts visitors from around the globe.
