I decided to go with Park Resorts this year instead of Haven and I found a relaxing atmosphere unlike Haven. The only thing I found about the Yorkshire is the lack of buses. The 136 bus is the best bus to get really Friendly.
I left my purse at the caravan and the staff where helpful over the phone. The beach is a problem with the cliff erosion but a really nice relaxing holiday J Budgen, Lancashire

Had 4 night break at Skipsea. Caravan was very nice. Central heating and double glazed - just what was needed for 1st week in May - a bit blowey.
Had problem with very wet bathroom floor - carpet soaked - problem was dealt the day we told staff - very helpful - also problem with dining chair but again staff very helpful
Shame about coast erosion - as we were a bunch of wrinklies did not really matter about going to beach.
Site kept clean and tidy and grass cut patricia hackett, Worcestershire

park resorts bought this park in oct 2007 caravans doubled in price, standards of service are very poor from sales team.owners are unhappy with not been able to advertise your caravan for sale on site leaving,No option but to sell back to park resorts for very low value .Are they now trying to sell this park .

We had 4 fantastic years on this park, unfortunately when Park Resorts took over in October 2007 things changed for the worse.
The park became extremely busy, we where unable to sleep, had drunks staggering passed the caravan at all hours using awful language. This was a quiet peaceful park with reasonably priced caravans, it is now an over priced hangout for drunks and loud people. 13th Jul 2008 -

this was the best time of my life it was the return visit and i loved it the TeamStars were ABSOLUTLEY FANTASTIC
there is also a new one named Grant who is GREAT. Sadly Nikki wasnt there cos she was on holiday. The diner was shut cos making bigger into new costa coffee. The lifeguards were lovely. When we got there we thought the TeamStars had forgotten us then They went into the DJ booth and looked over and they ran over cos they remembed us HOW NICE IS THAT. later on in the week they stunned us cos they gave us a special award for helping out and joining in, that made our hol really special we werent expecting it all i can say is that the TeamStars are some of the nicest people ive ever met and will see them again in september Adam

I am the nephew to the reviewer below. And I agree with him. I was in the same caravan as him (as well as the rest of his household, and there was the other caravan of reletaves), well I say I was in the same caravan but really 95 percent of the time because we were out most of the time. IT WAS FANTASTIC. I LOVED IT. The TeamStars actually came and talked to us and they also asked if we wanted to play a game of cards with them, there was:
Kerry: She is fantastic for her first time as a TeamStar, I think she has a great future as a TeamStar ahead of her. She was always smiling and laughing. She was also a fantastic dancer.
Ruth AKA Ruthio: She was also frantastic. She started Sparkles corner when my cousin Phoebe was the onlt one there. She was always smiling and is a wonderful person.
Nikki: She was a brilliant dancer. Nikki was another fantastic person. She smiled, made jokes and was really nice to us. She was a fantastic dancer.
Jerome AKA Jeromeo: He was always cracking jokes.
Nearly whenever we saw him he was laughing or smiling.
He was also a good dancer.
Brain: He was a good singer and dancer. He was also the assistant entetainment manager.
Tim: Tim wasn't a TeamStar, he was a lifeguard. He was a great person. I think he has the making of a TeamStar in him. We also asked for his autograph. He was always talking to us when he saw us and telling us jokes.
The toilets at Skipsea are hygenic looking, ecxept for the toilets near the pool, I think that people should use the others.
There is also bowling for about 3 pounds per game per adult and that's the price before 6.
THE POOL IS FREE. Some people might call it boring but for the people who just enjoy being in the water it's great.
The is a small laundrette. It's small but at least it workes.
The shop on the site is really really cheap (or at least I thought so).
The is an entertainment complex with a great complex for young children. It's great in there. There is plenty of choice in there and I really like it in there. It is seperate from the main complex.
I've been to 2 Haven parks. I went to Rivier Sands and Primrose Valley. I enjoyed Primrose valley from the 2 but in total SKIPSEA SANDS IS MUCH MUCH BETTER.
We are going again to Skipsea later today WAYHAY. I CAN'T WAIT. I might make a review on the holiday sometime when I get back.
If I ever have children I will take them to Skipsea.
I'm hoping to become Teamstar later in life. 9th Jun 2008 -

The site has been taken over by that money grabbing firm park resorts , This site used to be great but now its a mess i am an owner on this park and all i get is mail from them trying to bully me into buying a new caravan that costs a fortune now to buy off these rob dogs, also trying to get me to let out my van. Ive been coming to this site for 25 years and realy sad that they have come in with this atitude to owners. I am selling up this year as soon as possible i want to remember the good times ive had over the years.
